Cortex Verify is a factual validation and decision-risk analysis module. It extracts verifiable claims from any document, checks them against evidence you provide, scores decision risk per claim, and generates a structured reliability report.
Does Cortex Engines establish absolute truth?+
No. Cortex Engines provides probabilistic assessments based on available evidence and AI model analysis. Trust scores and verification results are indicators of reliability, not guarantees of truth. Users remain responsible for their final decisions.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?+
Free users can run up to 5 analyses per day and access Quick Answer and Standard Analysis. Pro users get unlimited standard analyses, Deep Intelligence, monitoring and watchlists, full PDF export, and saved report history (100 reports) — all for $7.99/month USD.
How do I upgrade to Pro?+
Sign in to your account, then click the "Upgrade to Pro" button. You will be directed to our secure LemonSqueezy checkout to complete your subscription at $7.99/month USD.
Can I cancel my subscription?+
Yes. Cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Is my document content stored permanently?+
Document text you paste into Cortex Verify is processed to generate your report. If you save a report to your history, the report output is stored in your account. The raw document text you submitted is not stored separately after processing.
What AI models does Cortex Engines use?+
Cortex Engines uses OpenAI GPT-4o for reasoning and claim verification, Tavily for live web search, and Claude (Anthropic) for synthesis and verdict generation.
Does Cortex Engines use my content to train AI models?+
No. We do not use content you submit to the platform to train AI models.

Is there a refund policy?+
We do not offer automatic refunds for unused subscription periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review your case.
